Priorities. “Whatever is important to you, you will make the time for.”
This morning I heard my alarm go off and it was still dark outside, which is the worst. lol
For the first night in a while, I slept for multiple hours in a row! YAY!
Possible TMI* I usually don’t sleep more than an hour at a time due to bladder issues. But now that I’ve been eating healthier consistently, my blood sugar is regulating and I don’t have to get up as often! Thank you Jesus!
I woke up before the sun and I honestly wanted to go back to sleep. But I knew that once my work day had started, I wasn’t going to want to workout.
Priorities.
You will make time for what is important to you.
If being healthy is important to you, you will make time to plan your meals, you will make time for your workouts.
I’ve been feeling convicted because I realized I wasn’t reading my Bible like I should be.
If God is important to me, I have to make time for Him.
If getting healthy and losing weight is a priority to you, you will make the right choices and make time for it.
So as I adjust my plan and daily routine every week (like the stuff on my daily list), I look at the goals I am not reaching. What things tend to fall by the wayside?
It’s important to check in on your progress every so often so that you can adjust and figure out what you need to change in order to reach your goals.
I realized I wasn’t spending time reading the Bible and praying like I wanted to be, so I had to adjust my priorities and plans to make time for it.
I wasn’t taking care of myself the way I wanted to, so I adjusted my time to be able to journal and do some self care.
I wasn’t workout out the way I wanted to, so I changed the times I chose to workout to being earlier in the morning.
I wasn’t keeping the house clean the way I wanted to, so I made some little changes to how I do the chores.
You will make time for what is important to you.
What are you priorities this week? Or shall I say, what is most important to you?
Because for a long time, I didn’t think that my health was important enough.
Sit down and check your heart. What is most important to you that you need to make time for?
