Starting weight: 270
5/4: 262
5/5: 256
5/6 (today): 254
I am finally back on track. As you can see above, the weigh-ins from the last few days. It had seemed like I had gained 8 lbs from our vacation weekend, but I am starting to trend back down. Only 2 days til the 20 day checkpoint weigh-in. The goal is to be at 250, and I’m actually feeling hopeful about it! It’s doable.
The past few days have been busy since I’ve started a new job and had orientation/training.
Yesterday was a mess, honestly. My husband drove me 2 hours away to my orientation, and while he sat at the beach to wait for me, I was busy training and being told I had to buy a new computer that complies with the work standards.
When he picked me up, we were both grumpy. We were both starving, tired and not in the mood to drop over $400 on a new computer. And to top it off, when I got home, I had to set up all the work stuff by myself and it took almost 3 hours of a panicked phone call to our IT tech guy.
The cherry on top was that I still had to go to the gym. And let me tell you, I did not feel like going. I was tired, exhausted, stressed and ready to unwind and relax.
But I remembered that I made a commitment to myself and you (whoever is reading this), which holds me accountable.
I pounded it out on the elliptical and weight machines, proud of myself for even going. And as I turned up the volume of my playlist, I found that I was releasing the day through every drop of sweat. I felt better and accomplished, like my day was complete.
While thinking of my new work schedule, I realized I had to change up my rountine now and work on my time management.
Where I used to get up whenever my body woke up, I am now setting an alarm every morning for 6:30.
Working out from 7-8:30am and starting work at 9am.
Today, I woke up as the sun was beginning to rise and spent some time with God. I let him speak to me and just listened. I enjoyed every second in the gym and felt like I started my day off right.
I know that it’s a new routine and it may take some getting used to, but my life is finally starting to feel like it has more purpose and meaning. The weight is falling off and falling off quickly. And to those who think it’s coming off too fast or that no one should lose that much weight that fast, I ask you, How big is God?
Because when we partner with God and have the right intentions, God can do miracles and speed up a process faster than is humanly possible. Jesus died to not only forgive my sins, but to heal me of obesity and health problems. And I plan on taking advantage of his sacrifice for me. He has set me free and I plan on living like it.
I am working toward a goal and I am determined to be the best version of myself in the process.
Til tomorrow,

The weight you gained may have been water weight.glad you are back on track though. Also just know that your weight will fluctuate always, but your worth stays the same.
