Honest Disney+ Review: Is it worth it?

The new streaming service Disney+ is taking the world by storm and everyone has been asking for an honest Disney+ review. There are constant commercials and ads for it everywhere we turn. But the question we are all asking ourselves is, is it worth it?

I asked a hardcore Disney fan and the average run-of-the-mill person for their honest perspective and I think you may be surprised at what you find!

HARDCORE DISNEY FAN PERSPECTIVE

Price: 

Such a cheap price for all the “feels”! Such a low price in comparison to Netflix, Hulu and the competing streaming services. Worth every penny, no question!

Selection: 

As an extreme fan of Disney, almost everything on the Disney+ que is worth watching. You will find movies from the 90’s that you grew up on, remakes of the favorites that you adore, and a variety of oldies from the classic Disney vault. There are a variety of shows and movies that a true Disney fan will never tire of and they keep adding more!

Is it worth it?: 

No brainer! There are movies on there that I forgot had even existed! Just seeing the list of movies takes me back to childhood and reminds me why I became a hardcore Disney fan in the first place. It takes me back to my 1st love! 

NON-DISNEY FAN PERSPECTIVE

Price:

It’s relatively comparable to Netflix, but slightly lower. Not a bad price for a streaming service at all.

Selection:

Depending on the person, there may only be a few things on there that would be worth watching, such as the Star Wars franchise or the Marvel movies, along with a few Disney movies, for the average person. Of course there are movies that remind me of my childhood, but a lot of them are geared towards a younger crowd. It just depends on the age range of those who are watching the variety that they offer.

I do like the fact that almost everything on Disney+ is pure. I would never have to worry about my children watching something super inappropriate or extremely profane. I think this world needs a little more of good quality things to watch. No complaints here!

Is it worth it?:

It just depends on whether you want to pay the money for the type of selection they have. That being said, I also would never get bored with the selection of movies/shows that are available. It is definitely worth it if you have children who love Disney or if you are a Marvel and/or Star Wars fan. But as somebody who doesn’t have much interest in any of those things, it’d be great to have, but I could take it or leave it.

WELL…IS IT WORTH IT?

After reading an honest Disney+ review from both parties, the answer is a resounding YES! It is a no brainer for the ultimate Disney fan, but even the average person tends to lean towards it with positive feedback! There are no complaints!

As Disney+ adds even more original and new content, I believe that Disney+ will be a household name very soon! I would love to hear your opinions and perspectives in the comments below!
