Does God want to be involved?
I remember I was doing a Disney World challenge, going to all 4 parks in one day. As I was getting ready that morning, I felt like God told me to wear my white tennis shoes.
I shrugged it off because it didn’t go with my outfit.
OH BOY, did I regret it. I ended up getting such painful blisters on my feet that I needed a piggyback ride to even make it out of the last park. My feet were so swollen for the rest of the week.
Imagine if we talked to God about every decision, even the little ones…But does He even want to be involved in those little things?
I believe God wants to be our best friend even down to the nitty gritty details of our lives. He wants to be involved.
You know when I sit and when I rise;Â you perceive my thoughts from afar. Psalm 139:2
If God knows when I sit down, knows my everything thought, knows the number of hairs on my head, created the world and the human body…He must be a man of details.
I believe God wants to be there in every aspect and detail of our lives. He wants to guide our every decision. Fill our every need. But we have to let Him.
Imagine the beautiful life you could have if you obeyed and listened to everything God asked of you. If you got a God-stamp of approval for everything you did. There would be so much freedom.
It’s about time we allow God to be involved in even the small aspects of our lives.
God loves to be involved in the intimate details of our lives., He yearns for it.
God even helps me pick out what to wear, because He already knows what the day is going to hold. Whether I need tennis shoes because I’ll be walking more than I expected or a pair of pants He knows I’ll be more comfortable in.Â
He helps me choose what to eat, what to say, what to spend my money on, what to wear, what to pursue, who to pray for. Am I always obedient? No, but it’s a learning process.
God want to speak to you. Help you. Be involved. Be your best friend. Will you let him?

Pray with me!
Father God, help me to know your voice. Help me to hear you and be obedient. I want you to be involved in the little things in my life. I want your opinion on every decision. Help me to remember to come and confide in you, to ask you for your wisdom, and to do the right things. Thank you that you care enough to want to be involved in my life. I love you.
In Jesus’ name, amen.
