Do you know what belongs to you?
So many of us are walking around with problems that we never believe will be fixed or get better.
We think we will always be broke, always in debt and never move up financially.
We think that we will always have these aches and pains, always deal with illness or that there is nothing we can do about hard diagnoses.
We think we will always have anxiety, be stressed out and it’s just something we have to medicate or learn to deal with.
We think we will always be alone, that there will never be good relationships in our lives or that we don’t even deserve them.
We think we will never live up to our potential because we have so many issues and it just never works out for us no matter how hard we try.
We think we are stuck and that growth is a super slow process.
Whatever issues you are facing in your life, God tells us what His promises are for us throughout the Bible.
He tells us that healing and divine health belong to us. That salvation, redemption and freedom belong to us. He tells us that peace, rest and sleep belong to us. That provision and finances belong to us. He tells us that love, joy and comfort belong to us. That confidence, grace and the desires of our hearts belong to us.
If you read yesterday’s devo, we learned that we have to start by saying yes to His promises.
If we would only just unlock and believe what God says. We would be living completely different lives if we would just believe Him and take Him at his word.
The Bible tell us that His words are true and His promises are yes and amen.
so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it. Isaiah 55:11
This means that if God said it, it is true and it is powerful.
All it takes is trust and faith. We have got to start believing the promises of God and stand for nothing less. We are supposed to be walking billboards for freedom, success, love, health and healing.
God wants us to take advantage of His promises. He doesn’t want us living with all this fear, anxiety, sickness and depression. He wants us to be confident and trust that he is true to His word! He truly keeps His promises.
God can change our lives overnight. He can change us in a milisecond.
We just have to start believing that He can, that He wants to, and that it belongs to us as His children. His promises are our inheritance.
So, do you know what belongs to you?

Pray with me!
Father God, thank you for your abundant promises. Thank you that your words never return back void, that you keep your promises. Help me to trust you and believe that you want all these good things for me. Give me faith. Help me to grow. Remind me that anything is possible if I would just believe you. Thank you for sending your son to die for me to make all these promises possible. I love you. Help me to start living like a kingdom child of God.
In Jesus’ name, amen.
