Do you have everything you need?
When I was in my early 20’s, all I wanted to do was be some singer or performer. I talked about moving to California all the time, because that was supposedly the only place where the recording studios and acting opportunities were.
But for some reason, I never made it there. Nothing every lined up. I never had the money. I never had a friend to room with. I never could find a good place to live. I couldn’t find any connections. It just never worked and I never felt the greenlight in my spirit.
Where God guides, He provides.
When I felt like I was supposed to move to Sweden, it seemed as if everything fell into place right away.
I found roommates immediately. I received a lump sum of money to pay off my debt. I got a great job for the months prior that ended up paying for over a year of living abroad. I found connections and friends before I even got there. I had peace about it.
Because…
Where God guides, He provides.
He was never calling me to move to California. He knew that wasn’t the place for me. He wasn’t going to provide a way for me there because I wasn’t never meant to be there. If I wanted it, I was going to have to work that much harder and it wasn’t going to be easy.
All the places I was supposed to go, there was always provision.
And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19
The Bible tells us that God will supply all our needs.
But if we want something and God doesn’t provide it, it may not have been meant for us.
But He will not supply things for you that were not meant for you.
He will not supply things that will hurt you.
The thing is, God gives us free will. He doesn’t force us to do anything. He allows us to do as we please, even if it isn’t the right thing.
So if you want something that God doesn’t want for you or provide for, you are going to have to work that much harder to make it happen.
If things aren’t lining up, pray and ask God if it was ever meant for you. Ask Him if that’s what He wants for your life.
Where God guides, He provides. I don’t want to go anywhere that He hasn’t guided me. Because I know that God supplies all my needs when I allow Him to lead me. I would rather be under His provision.
Do you have everything you need? Or do you feel like you are constantly pushing against a brick wall?

Pray with me!
Father God, I want to be where you want me to be. I want to be lead by you. Reveal to me if I’m not where I’m supposed to be. Speak to me if I’m not doing what I should be doing. Thank you that you supply all my needs. I pray that you would lead me to the right place, the right job, the right people, and the right decisions. I don’t ever wanna be in a place that hasn’t been okay’d by you. I want to be under your provision. Thank you for taking such good care of me. I love you.
In Jesus’ name, amen.
