Are you living a life worthy of your calling?
I am a very deep thinker and sometimes think a little too much. But I came across this question and it made me dig deep to find the answer.
Are you living a life worthy of your calling?
God has asked us all to be loving, patient, gentle, non-argumentative, humble, faithful and obedient, among other things. God has also placed specific gifts, talents, dreams inside of us. He has a plan and a future for each and every one of us.
Are you living a life worthy of that calling God has placed on your life? Are you reflecting Him? Are your life choices helping you move forward? Are taking steps forward into your purpose?
As a prisoner for the Lord, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received. Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Ephesians 4:1-2
The Bible is telling us how to get there and how to be worthy of the callings on our lives.
We need to be walking representations of Jesus. That is how we go farther.
We need to be loving every person we come in contact with and thinking about how Jesus sees them. We need to be gentle with how we do and say things to others. We need to walk in humility. We need to bring peace and unity everywhere we go.
We must start living a life worthy of the calling we have received. We are called to rise above. We are called to be different from the rest of the world. We are called to be different.
None of us are perfect or ever will be. But we must start being better than the world we live in and live a life that points back to Jesus.
That’s what it is all about. Pointing everyone back to Jesus.
